hello! :-)

My name is Kate Escolin. I’m an Illustrator, Artist and Arts Facilitator based in Dublin/Kildare, Ireland.

My visual work consists of bright and playful imagery that embody themes of optimism, inclusivity and tenderness.

My practice focuses on digital illustration, design, comics and animation.

Along with my visual work, I also teach workshops with a focus on zine and comic making, for all ages.

A large part of my practice focuses on fostering community. I host free monthly meet-ups called ‘Sketchbook Club’ at Little Deer Comics, Dublin and Riverbank Arts Centre, Kildare. I am also a committee member of the Dublin Comic Arts Festival.
